Summer: Play a few rounds at Okemo's 18-hole public golf course. We're close to lakes and boating, central to sightseeing. 10 minutes to Weston, 25 minutes to Woodstock and 30 minutes to Manchester. Horseback riding, riding and hiking trails are all nearby. You can fish the property in the state-stocked Black River. Feeling arty? The Fletcher School of Arts and Crafts (802-228-8770) offers many classes for 2 or more days.

Fall: the most colorful time to visit our home. Beautiful foliage overlooking meadows and mountains. Go apple picking in Graffton, sight-see in Springfield, take a trip to Billings Farm Museum in Woodstock. Spend a day at the outlets in Manchester. Work on your swing at the Okemo Valley Golf Club indoor golf learning center.
